We celebrated the reopening of our new & improved Indoor Sports Court yesterday (11/25/19) with a special ribbon cutting ceremony! Sponsors, members and staff gathered to commemorate the improvement to this important community asset, which now has the capacity to serve our community for many years to come!
Renovations and upgrades include the floor being completely stripped, sanded, painted and refinished; the walls have new drywall and a more durable surface with new carpet and wall pads; the leaking roof has been replaced; the ceiling has been sealed and painted; fixtures and bulbs have been replaced with energy-saving LED; and the outdated furnace has been replaced with an energy efficient unit.
This renovation would not have been possible without this project’s major sponsors, including The McConnell Fund of Shasta Regional Community Foundation, Shasta Regional Medical Center Foundation, Stephens Electrical, Inc., Redding Rancheria Community Fund of SRCF, Bethel Church and Mechanics Bank.
